Finals Day 27th Sept 2020 and update

We hope you have all been keeping well. Unfortunately with covid 19 we cannot arrange any competitions or friendlys this year. I am sure we will all miss our county bowling. We did manage to hold our county finals day except for the ladies fours and the mixed fours. It was held at Palmerston and they did an excellent job of hosting it for us. Thank you. The ladies singles was won by Alice Lovett from Loddon Vale. It was a great game, congratulations. The pairs were won by S. Knight and J. Travers from Palmerston. The 2 wood triples and 3 wood triples were both won by R.Beynon, T. Farrington and M. Browne. Also from Palmerston. So Palmerston had a great season. Thankyou to all who came and played , to Helen who umpired and marked the singles for us. And to everyone that helped to make the day happen.

We will review the situation after Christmas.

Stay safe and well..

IMPORTANT

It is with regret that we had to cancel the county finals today. The clubs are all closing and we need to keep people in and safe. It is very sad after you have all played your competitions all year. We were all looking forward to the day. Hopefully we can hold them in September.

We hope everyone stays well during the summer, Thankyou to you all.

Congratulations to Hampshire ladies , who had a very good win in the Atherley Trophy on Saturday against a very experienced Kent team. Hampshire won by 26 points over all which was a great achievement. Next round is Hampshire vs Essex away. Good luck in that match!

Thank you to Victory for hosting the game. All went very well and it was nice to see all that came to support.

Hello everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your summer of bowls!

I have a few dates for you for the coming indoor season. Please try and put them in your diaries as we would love to see you all at these games.

This is just something to get us started.

Also, it was decided to start the county competitions earlier this year and with a larger gap in between games.
